You might be wondering, "Why does she talk about us? It seems like this is a one-woman business." Well, while the company itself is indeed just me, the idea behind it is much bigger.

My father and grandparents didn't grow up in Belgium; they were born and raised in Morocco, or as we fondly call it, 'le bled' (the hometown).

​

Visiting Morocco for the first time made me realize the extent to which history has been overlooked due to the lack of representation of people of color in Belgium. Our history is one I refuse to forget—a history of people I aim to represent, and most importantly, a history of individuals who worked tirelessly to pave the way for my promising future.

That's why it will never solely be a venture of one; it has, does, and will always belong to them before me.
